Sales Manager

Key Accountabilities

Business Development

  • Develop and implement business plan to achieve annual sales targets (sell-in and sell-out).
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, market trends and the broader economy to identify opportunities and threats and propose new projects.
  • Review and optimize brand distribution according to the commercial objective.
  • Facilitate the process of WS Retailization and Booster CRM according to HQ’s direction.
  • Monthly Network Planning update and Weekly Distributor Heatmap update

Sales

  • Develop strong and efficient relationships with customers at all levels - owners, general managers, store managers, retail staff to drive sell out in all doors.
  • Regularly visit points of sale to keep IWC top of mind and provide support and service to the customer.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient cash collection, in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Implement impactful incentive programs for sales associates.
  • Implement commercial policies of IWC and ensure that all activities are compliant with local regulations and corporate standards.
  • Track and analyze business performance (sales by door, turnover, market share,…) and adjust sales actions accordingly.
  • Collect and share internally the feedback from retailers, consumers and competitors with regards to sales, products and marketing activity.

Operation

  • Handle SFC planning and BU presentation according to budget plan
  • Prepare wish list and monthly order based on the sellout trend
  • Regular boutique stock update, handle stock request and annual stock take for all channel.
  • Manage stock logistics for adhoc request, like APAC transfer or stock return to HQ

Trade Marketing

  • Develop and implement collaboration activities with retailers, in partnership with the marketing teams and in line with the brand strategy and guidelines.

Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure optimal brand expression at the POS by supporting customers in implementing windows, displays, trade accessories, furniture, catalogues, etc.
  • Regularly check the state of POS material and fix/replace as needed to maintain a state of the art brand environment.
  • Identify and secure opportunities to maximize space and visibility in the store.

Assortment / Inventory Management

  • Define the model stock based on store trends, customer base, commercial objectives and brand strategy.
  • Implement the automatic replenishment process with each retailer.
  • Regularly assess stock situation at POS to ensure that inventory requirements are met
  • Propose solutions to address identified risks and issues (aging inventory, slow movers, overstock).

Training & Product Knowledge

  • Launch IWC Brand Ambassador Program that in line with HQ’s training strategies.
  • Convey the passion for IWC to turn all sales associates into passionate brand ambassadors.
  • Implement the corporate training strategy in every POS (watchlive challenge, Kahoot, zoom and classroom trainings)
  • Regularly deliver in-store trainings to enhance brand and product knowledge

Our requirement:

  • University graduate, business related major is preferred.
  • 5 years relevant Wholesale or Travel Retail experience, preferably gained from a high-end luxury industry.
  • Excellent command in both spoken and written English and Cantonese, fluent in Mandarin is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, good planning and organizing skills with ability to cope with changes.
  • A team player with excellent inter-personnel skills.
  • Prior people management experience would be preferred.
  • Mature, self-motivated, outgoing, able to work independently and willing to travel.
  • IT savvy (including Word, Power Point, Excel, SAP). Excel skill a definite must.
